The 32 universities are drawn into 8 groups. 4 teams per group clash in a round-robin format across multiple disciplines. Only the absolute best will survive the gauntlet to advance.

The Knockouts
The top teams from the groups enter the brutal Single Elimination bracket. Lose once, and you go home. Win out, and take the $10,000 Crown.

01 The Squad
Assemble a 3-person squad. All players must be currently enrolled in an African university (Ages 18-25).
02 The Pitch
Record a 60-second video of your squad. Tell us who you are, what university you represent, and why your university and your country has the smartest minds in Africa. Defend your flag. Tell us why you are taking the crown and the $10,000.
03 The Drop
Post the video publicly on X (Twitter), TikTok, or Instagram Reels. You MUST tag @MindLeagueAfrica and use the hashtag #MLADraft. Grab that link, submit it in the application portal, and wait.
